Riot has decided to nerf Jett with the patch 4.08. With this change, Riot is looking to balance the duelist side of the Valorant. Riot is nerfing the Jett Dash (Tailwind) in this patch.
From the official launch of the game in 2020, Jett is still one of the most popular agent in Valorant. One of the big reasons for her popularity is her playstyle which is irreplaceable in pro plays as well ranked games. Her main ability, her dash is considered broken and one of the strongest ability in game. With this update Riot is looking to somewhat nerf the Jett Dash.

The Patch 4.08 will be a mini patch focusing on only this Jett change.
Tailwind (Dash)
On pressing the ability key, after a short delay Jett activates a 12 second window where she is empowered to immediately dash on next button press.
Her Tailwind charge is lost whether she dashes or the window expire, but can still be regained with two kills.
Before this nerf, Riot has tried to balance Jett few times before. They already tried to balance her by updating her smokes, ability costs and ultimate nerfs. In this meta and patch of Valorant, they duelist side of game is in bad state. Phoenix has zero pick rate, Yoru is still unreliable, Neon is kind of bad, Raze is map dependent. Jett and Reyna are only valid duelists in this meta.
If this update will bring Jett somewhat closer to other duelists in game, it will be healthy for the Valorant.
