WePlay AniMajor: All you need to know | Prize Pool, Schedule, Streams and more

WePlay esports is organising the second major of this years Dota Pro Circuit season, which is starting from 2 June and will end on 13 June. Kyiv, Ukraine will be hosting this years major at WePlay Esports Arena Kyiv. Here are all the details you need to know regarding WePlay AniMajor.

WePaly AniMajor Teams and Format-

Eighteen (18) teams have qualified from 6 regions for AniMajor.

China- 4 Teams
Western Europe- 4 Teams
Eastern Europe- 3 Teams
Southeast Asia- 3 Teams
North America- 2 Teams
South America- 2 Teams

Depending on their regional seed they have been divided in 3 categories.

1. Playoff Seeds-

They all are number 1 seed from their respective region and are directly placed in upper bracket of double elimination playoffs.

2. Wild Card Seeds-

They will face each other in round-robin style matches and top 2 teams among them will move to group stage seeds and 4 of them will be eliminated.

3. Group Stage Seeds-

Eight 8 teams (6 from group stage + 2 from wild cards) will face each other in round-robin style matches. Top 2 of them will be placed in upper bracket of playoffs while 3rd-6th teams will be placed in lower division of playoffs for single elimination. Bottom 2 teams(7th and 8th) will be eliminated from major.

WePlay AniMajor Schedule and where to watch-

WePlay AniMajor will start on 2 June and ends on 13 June, games will start 1:00pm CEST daily.

Round-robin for wildcard seed will start from 2nd June. They will all face each other in round-robin style matches and top 2 teams among them will move to group stage seeds and 4 of them will be eliminated.

For Group stages Round-robin will start from 4th June and ends on

June 7th. Eight 8 teams (6 from group stage + 2 from wild cards) will face each other in round-robin style matches. Top 2 of them will be placed in upper bracket of playoffs while 3rd-6th teams will be placed in lower division of playoffs for single elimination. Bottom 2 teams(7th and 8th) will be eliminated from major.
