TI 12 Group Stage Results Today and Schedule: Dota 2 International 2023

The Dota 2 TI 12 started on October 12 with the group stages. 20 teams start their International 2023 journey from the group stage after Day 2 of the group stage four teams will be eliminated. These teams are competing for the title of Dota 2 world champions and $3 million prizepool.

TI 12 Schedule- Group Stage Phase 2

On the third day of Dota 2 International 2023, four series of Phase 2 of the group stage was played. Team Spirit beat Shopify Rebellion 2-0, VP defeated TSM 2-0 and Team Liquid dominated EG 2-0 to move to the upper bracket of playoffs. The final series of the day between GG and Talon was an insane series, Talon after down 0-1 pulled an insane comeback in both games to win the series 2-1.

The winners of the Phase 2 series will be placed in the upper bracket of playoffs, while the losing teams will be in the lower bracket of TI 12 playoffs.

TI 12 Group Stage final Results: Phase 1

After the first two days of Dota 2 action in International 2023, the phase of the group stage has finished and 4 teams are eliminated from TI 12. Team SMG, Thunder Awaken, beastcoast and PSG Quest are eliminated with a 16th-20th place finish.

Team Spirt, Liquid, LGD and Tundra won their respective groups and Team Spirit was the only unbeaten team throughout phase 1 of group stage.

The International 2023: Schedule and Format

The 2023 TI 12 will start on October 12th with the group stages. This year the Dota 2 International will have a new format. There will be 4 groups of 5 teams each in Group Stage- phase 1. The bottom team from each group (5th place) will be eliminated from the event. The remaining teams will be qualified for the playoffs but will face each other in phase two for seeding in playoff brackets (upper and lower).

The main event of International 2023 - The playoffs will begin on October 20th. Eight teams start from the upper bracket quarterfinals whereas the other teams will be placed in the lower bracket. The grand finals will be played on October 29th, Sunday in Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena.
