Team SMG qualified for TI 12 - SEA The International 2023 Qualifiers

The Regional Qualifiers of TI 12 SEA are finished. Team SMG wins the Dota 2 International 2023 qualifiers and are qualified for the TI 12 as the last South East Asian team.

SEA Regional Qualifiers Result: Team SMG vs Blacklist

In the South East Asian Regional qualifiers, Team SMG and Blacklist International fought for a spot in the International 2023. Before reaching the grand finals SMG defeated Blacklist in the upper bracket finals 2-0 and Blacklist then won against Geek Fam 2-0 to secure their rematch against Team SMG in finals.

Team SMG looked unstoppable this whole qualifier and again dominated Blacklist International in the final. Team SMG won 3-0 in very one sided games and qualified for TI 12.

With Team SMG's qualification to TI 12 some of the all time greats are back in the International after a few rough years. Likes of MidOne, noOne and Ah Fu are back on the stage of The Dota 2 International.

Along with Team SMG, Talon Esports is the one other team from SEA region to qualify for the Dota 2 International. The TI 12 will begin on October 12th in Seattle, USA.
