Talon Esports moves to Semi-Final of Riyadh Masters Playoffs

The Riyadh Masters 2023 playoffs has begun on July 25th and in the opening match of the upper bracket Talon Esports Faced Quest Esports.

Talon Esports are the last remaining representative of the SEA region. The South East Asia region has been struggling in the international Dota 2 for a few years. This event can be a turning point for them.

Talon Esports vs Quest Esports: Riyadh Masters Result

Talon Esports faced the group A leader Quest Esports in the upper bracket quarterfinals of Riyadh Masters 2023. This was a best of 3 series for the upper semi-finals spot and the loser dropped down to the lower bracket.

This series was a very intense and exhausting series. The first game went to 53 mins. which Talon won after securing Mega Creeps in a multiple buyback ending. The second game was more one-sided in favor of Quest and they tied the series to 1-1.

The final game of the series was a treat for the Dota 2 fans, this game went to the 59th minute. And in this game, Talon beat Quest with the help of multiple refreshers for Faceless Void and Doom in a thrilling team fight heavy game.

With this 2-1 win over Quest Esports, Talon has now secured a top 6 finish and $500K. Quest Esports will now face PSG.LGD in lower bracket elimination game. Talon will now face the winner of the game in between Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators.
