IEM Katowice playoffs quarterfinals starts today - Schedule, teams and matchups
IEM Katowice 2022 playoffs are starting today on February 25th, Friday. The groups stages of IEM Katowice 2022 finished on February 20th. Out of the 24 initial teams only six teams remains to fight for the title of IEM Katowice and $400,000 USD grand prize.

Playoffs of IEM Katowice will begin on February 25th, both the quarterfinals will be played on Friday, 25th. First quarterfinal will be played between Virtus.Pro and G2 Esports at 15:30 CET. The winner will move onto semi-final where Navi is waiting for them. In second semi-final Gambit and Faze will fight each other to move onto semi-final and to face Heroic.
G2 Esport's Niko will be the player to watch in the quarterfinals. he is currently the best player in IEM Katowice (stat wise) averaging an insane 104 ADR as well as 1.5 rating with 260 total frags. Niko is the the player along with s1mple who is favourite to finish 2022 as the best player in the world.
After winning their respective groups Heroic and Navi secured a direct spot in Semi-finals of IEM Katowice 2022. Whereas the second and third seed of both groups will fight in quarterfinals. The playoffs are single elimination games, each series will be a do or die. Both the semi-finals will be played on February 26th while the grand finals will be played on February 27th.
