IEM Katowice 2023 Results, Schedule, Teams and more : Group stage starts today

IEM Katowice 2023 has begun on February 1st. 24 teams will compete for a million-dollar prize pool and a direct qualification to IEM Cologne.
IEM Katowice Group Stage Results and Schedule
The group stage of IEM Katowice is in its final stages. In Group A, G2 Esports and Navi are in the upper bracket finals, Faze and Liquid are in the lower bracket finals. The top-seeded teams in group A are all the final remaining teams in Group A.
In group B, Heroic and Vitality are in the upper bracket finals. In the lower bracket semi-finals, Fnatic will face Complexity and OG will face Outsiders,

IEM Katowice Group stage- Teams and Format
The Group stage of IEM Katowice 2023 will start on February 4th, 16 teams will fight for 6 spots in playoffs.

These 16 teams will be divided into groups of 8 teams each and will play in two separate double-elimination brackets. The top three teams from each group will qualify for the playoffs of IEM Katowice, first seeds will be placed in the semi-finals whereas the third and fourth seeds will be placed in the quarterfinals.

IEM Katowice Play-In Results and Schedule
In the IEM Katowice, 16 teams will begin their tournament in the play-in stage. Eight of them will qualify for the group stage where the other 8 teams are waiting for them.
On day 1 of IEM Katowice, the upper bracket of play-ins was played. Four teams qualified for the group stage. BIG, OG, NiP and Cloud 9 won both of their series and qualified for the group stage. The remaining 12 teams will compete in the lower bracket for the remaining 4 spots on day 2.

On the second day of IEM Katowice, 4 teams got eliminated from the play-ins. Permitta Esports, EG, Grayhound and Pain Gaming got eliminated with a 21st-24th place finish. On third day, ENCE, Furia, MIBR and Sprout got eliminated with a 17th-20th place finish.
