IEM Cologne play-in result and Group stage schedule
IEM Cologne Play-in stage came to an end as 8 teams out of 16 qualified to main event group stage. They will now be joining 8 directly qualified teams in group stages.
In the play-ins most of the big and expected name qualified to main event. Evil Geniuses and OG can be considered the upset of the tournament so far as they failed to secure their spot in group stages.
16 teams will now compete in group stages. These teams are divided in 2 groups of 8 teams.

IEM Cologne Group Stage Schedule-
Group stages will start from 8th July and will be of double elimination style.
The winner of each group will be placed in semi-finals of playoffs whereas the 2nd and 3rd position from each group will be placed in quarter-finals of playoffs.
Playoffs will be played from July 16th - 18th, Grand Finals will be on 18th July.

Intel Extreme Masters Cologne will have a total of 1,000,000$ prize pool , which will be divided into all 24 teams.
