FIFINE's AM8 Streaming microphone is one of the best budget mic for steamers, gamers, podcasters, and all content creators. It is a perfect microphone for beginners to enter the field of content creation as this affordable microphone is very easy to use and has great audio quality.

Design
This microphone from FIFINE looks and feels well-built despite being a budget option. The mic has a Gain knob, an Output volume knob, and two touch-sensitive buttons for muting and changing RGB colors. It has a RGB bar with 8 RGB static lights, a breathing mode and a flowing mode. The microphone itself is available in black, white and pink color.
The positioning of buttons are knobs are not comfortable to use especially the mute button. We found ourselves constantly muting the microphone accidentally while moving and holding it due to the mute button's positioning.
Connectivity
FIFINE AM8 has both USB-C and XLR connectivity options. You can also use it with mobile devices by using the USB-C port. It also has a 3.5mm connection for the headphones to monitor your audio.
As the AM8 microphones comes with both USB and XLR connectivity, beginners can use a USB-C connection and can easily upgrade to better audio quality without upgrading the microphone by using an XLR connection with a mixer.
Audio Quality
The Fifine AM 8 is a Dynamic microphone with a Cardioid polar pattern (unidirectional) which makes it great for Streaming and Podcasting. It comes with a windshield on mic for better audio against plosives.
The overall sound quality is great with rich-sounding vocals but we felt that the Fifine AM8 has low maximum gain and needs to be used very close.
