ESL Pro League 16 Playoffs: Results and Schedule

Season 16 of ESL Pro League is underway and the playoffs started on September 27th after a successful group stage. A total of 24 teams participated in ESL Pro League season 16's group stage, 12 of them moved forward to the playoffs. These teams are competing for the title of ESL Pro League, 835,000 USD prize pool, and a direct spot in Blast World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023.
ESL Pro League playoffs Result and Schedule
In the semi-finals, Team Liquid faced Cloud 9 and won 2-1, Inferno 16-11, Ancient 13-16 and Dust II 16-13. Team Liquid won this super close series and eliminated Cloud 9 from the ESL Pro League. Cloud 9 only lost two games in this event and it was team Liquid that beat them both times, once in group stages and now in semi-finals.
The second semi-finals were in between Vitality and G2 Esports. Vitality won 2-0, Mirage 16-8 and Inferno 19-16. Vitality made an insane comeback in the Inferno to secure the series, they were down 7-15 and managed to win the map.
Vitality and Liquid struggled in the entire 2022 season and tried experimenting a bit with their roster. But in the ESL Pro League Season 16, they finally managed to achieve a good result.

After the group stages and playoffs, we have our final and top 2 teams of ESL Pro League Season 16. Grand Finals will be played on October 2nd, Sunday.

The group stage of ESL Pro League had 24 teams divided into 4 groups. Three teams from each group qualified for the playoffs of the ESL Pro League. The top seed from each group places directly in the quarterfinals whereas 2nd and 3rd seeds will play in the round of 12.
