Team Vitality wins IEM RIO 2023 | Vitality vs Heroic grand final result

IEM Rio 2023 has finished with Team Vitality becoming the IEM Rio champion. Team Vitality won 100K USD and direct qualification to IEM Cologne 2023.

Vitality vs Heroic- IEM Rio Grand Finals Results

Team Vitality and Heroic faced each other in the grand finals of IEM Rio 2023. Heroic beat Navi 2-0 whereas Vitality beat Cloud9 2-1 in the semi-finals to secure spots in the grand finals.

The grand final was the best of three series. The first map was Vertigo which Vitality won 16-13 and took a 1-0 lead in the finals. The second map, Inferno was a similar story and Vitality won 16-10 to take the series 2-0.

Team Vitality lost their opening game of the IEM Rio against OG in Group B. From their, they fought their way through the group B lower bracket to qualify for the grand finals and eventually won the IEM Rio.
