T1 beat Team Aster in Upper Bracket | WePlay AniMajor Playoffs

Team T1 faced Team Aster in the opening series of WePlay AniMajor Playoffs. T1 came out on top by beating Aster 2-0 to move on to Upper Bracket round 2 where they will face winner of matchup between Quincy Crew and NoPing e-sports. T1 also secured direct invite to the main Dota 2 event of the year The International 10.

Both T1 and Aster had direct spot in playoffs as they were the number 1 seed from their regional DPC series. T1 from Southeast Asia and Aster from China region.

Team T1 vs Team Aster result-

This was a quick series as T1 took both the games convincingly. Aster didn't look as good as their regional matches and got dropped down in lower bracket where they will face another SEA team TNC Predator.

Game 1-

First game was 33:51 long. T1 took the game without any issue as they dominated from starting of the map.

Game 2-

Second game was even faster then the first one it was just 24 minutes long. It felt like Aster was not even trying to comeback in the game and just called the game quiet early.

Team Aster will now face another SEA team TNC in lower bracket elimination game. Whereas T1 will face the winner of Quincy Crew and NoPing-esports in upper bracket.
