Riyadh Masters 2023 Teams, Schedule, Group Stage, Prizepool and more
Dota 2 Riyadh Masters is starting on July 19th. The Riyadh Masters will have 20 teams competing for a $15 Million prize pool. The Riyadh Masters 2023 will be the biggest event of this Dota 2 season since The International 12 is expected to have a lower prize money than every year.
Riyadh Masters 2022 had a 5million USD prize pool, the first Riyadh Masters was won by PSG.LGD in 2022 and this year the stakes are even higher.
Riyadh Masters Teams and Format: Play-In, Group Stage
There will be 20 teams competing in the Riyadh Masters. The top 8 seeded teams are in the group stage, which is decided by Dream League 19-20 position, whereas the other 12 teams will start Riyadh masters in the Play-in stage.
The play-in will have two groups of 6 teams each and will play each other once in a best-of-2 series. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the group stage, 3rd to 6th place team from each group will be matched in decider games.
3rd vs 6th, 4th vs 5th, matches are played from opposite groups.
Winners will advance to the group stage.

The Group Stage will have two groups of 8 teams each, 8 teams of which are already decided whereas the rest 8 will be decided from the play-ins. Group A - EG, Gaimin Gladiators, PSG.LGD and Team Spirit. Group B - BetBoom, Shopify Rebellion, Talon Esports and Tundra Esports.
In the group stage teams will face each other once in their group in a BO2 series. Top 4 teams from each group will qualify for the playoffs in the upper bracket whereas 5th-6th seeds will qualify for the lower bracket of the playoffs.
Riyadh Masters Schedule and Prizepool
The Dota 2 Riyadh Master 2023 will start on July 19th. The Play-In stage will be played on 19th-20th July. The group stage will begin from July and will be played from July 21st to 24th. The playoffs will begin on July 25th and the grand finals will be played on July 30th.
The Riyadh Masters 2023 has a massive prize pool of 15 million USD which will be divided among all the 20 participating teams. The winner will receive 5 million whereas the 19-20th place teams will get 50k USD.
