PGL Stockholm Major starts today - Schedule, teams, format, prizepool

CS:GO's first major in 790 days is starting on October 26th, Tuesday. The PGL Stockholm Major will be the first CS:GO major after Pandemic. 24 teams will fight for the title of the worlds best and 2 million USD grand prize pool.


PGL Stockholm major schedule, results, prize, format, teams and more

PGL major will be a LAN event in AVICII Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. The event will also have live audience and crowd in the arena, this will be the first CS:GO event in post pandemic era to have a crowd.


PGL Stockholm Major teams -


Total of 24 teams will participate in major from all of the major regions. Teams are divided into 3 sections having 8 teams each - Legends, and Challengers+ Contenders.

PGL major Schedule and Format -


Challengers Stage-


PGL major will be played from October 26 to 29. First phase of the major will be New Challengers stage in which challengers and contenders will fight to move on to New Legends stage. Top 8 teams from 16 will qualify to Legends stage.


In Challengers stage each team will play 5 rounds, their opponents will depend upon their seedings and performance.


CSGO PGL Stockholm major schedule


Legends Stage-


Eight teams from challengers stage will join 8 Legend teams to begin the second phase of the PGL Major, the New Legends Stage. Legends stage will be played from October 30 to November 2.


In Legends stage also each team will play 5 rounds, their opponents will decided by their seedings and performance. Top 8 teams will qualify for Champions stage that is the Playoffs.


Playoffs will start from November 4th and the Grand finals will be on November 7th -8th, depending on region from where you will be watching from.


PGL Stockholm Major Prize pool-


PGL Major will have a grand prize pool of 2 million USD which will be divided among top 16 teams. The winner of the Major will win 1 million USD and a direct spot in Blast Premier World Finals.
