The Lima Major playoffs started on February 28th with 12 teams competing for the first Major of the 2023 Dota 2 season.

On the first day, the upper bracket quarterfinals were finished. Gaimin Gladiators beat Aster
2-0, Entity beat EG 2-0, Shopify Rebellion beat Spirit 2-1 and Liquid beat Talon 2-0. The winners are now in the upper semi-finals and the losers dropped down to the lower bracket.

The group stage of Lima Dota 2 major had 2 groups of 9 teams each. Top 6 teams from each group qualified for the playoffs, the top 4 seeds to the upper bracket whereas the 5th and 6th seeds were in the lower bracket.
