Global Esports won their VCT debut against damwon | Valorant APAC LCQ

India's Valorant organisation Global Esports won their first ever VCT game. GE defeat Korea's Damwon gaming 2-1 in round 1 of Asia Pacific Last Chance Qualifiers. This was the biggest game of India's Valorant esports scene and had many hopes for India as an esports region. After this incredible performance by GE all eyes are on Indian region.

Global Esports will now face South East Asia's team Paper Rex in upper bracket round 2 on October 12, 18:30 IST. The winner of VCT Asia Pacific LCQ will qualify for Valorant Champions 2021.

Global Esports VS Damwon Gaming APAC LCQ result-

Global Esports is representing India and South Asia in VCT APAC LCQ after winning Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC). They faced Korea's 4 seed Damwon Gaming in round 1 of upper bracket.

Map 1 was Haven, GE's pick. Global Esports after having a close first half dominated the second half to win the map 13-8. Map 2 was DWG's pick Ascent, Damwon took their map pick 13-7 and tied the series 1-1. Decider map of the series was Split and GE dominated the final map. GE had a strong first half and had a 9-3 lead going into second half. GE converted that lead into a 13-5 map win. GE took the series 2-1.
