The Bali Major has begun on June 29th, 18 teams will be competing for the 500k USD prize pool and DPC points for the International 2023 qualification.
Bali Major will be the final Dota 2 major of the 2023 season and will be very important for the teams. As the DPC points from this major will be the last chance to qualify for the International 12. The Dota 2 Bali Major winner will get 200k USD and 600 DPC points.
Bali Major Group Stage Table and Results
All 18 participating teams are divided into two groups of 9. The top 6 teams from each group will move onto the playoffs, top 4 in the upper bracket whereas 5th-6th seed in the lower bracket of playoffs.
The group stage will be round-robin style, all teams from the same group will each other once in 2 game series.
Dota 2 Bali Major Group Stage Results
The group stage of Bali Major has finished after 5 days of Dota 2 action. 12 teams move onto the playoffs, 8 in the upper bracket and 4 in the lower bracket. Team Liquid and Quest Esports won their respective groups. The playoffs will start on July 5th.
Region wise, Western Europe continued its international dominance and secured the top 4 positions. The hosting region struggled in the group stage, all three SEA teams failed to qualify for the playoffs. All three Eastern European teams also qualified for the playoffs, three out of 4 Chinese teams also secured a playoff spot.
Dota 2 Bali Major Starts Today: Schedule
The Dota 2 Bali Major will be played for more than 10 days. The group stage starts on June 29th, the playoffs will begin on July 5th and the grand finals will be played on July 9th.
The group stage will be played from June 29th to July 3rd. Each day 16 series will be played except on the final day on which 8 series will be played. Also if the teams will be tied after the group stage, the tiebreakers will be played on July 4th.
