BLAST Premier World Finals 2022: G2 vs Liquid in grand finals

Blast Premier World Finals is the final tier 1 event of the 2023 CSGO season. Eight teams will compete for a 1 million USD prize pool in the Blast world finals 2022.

Blast Premier world finals 2022 results and schedule

Blast Premier world finals are hosted by Abu Dhabi and will be a LAN event in Etihad Arena. The event has a million USD prizepool and the winner will receive $500K from it.

Blast Premier World Finals: Playoffs results and Schedule

The playoffs of the world finals started on December 16th, 6 teams played each other in the playoffs single elimination bracket. The top seed from each group were placed in the semi-finals whereas the remaining four teams faced each other in the quarterfinals.

Team Vitality and NAVI got eliminated in the quarterfinals. In the semi-finals G2 Esports beat Faze Clan 2-0 and Team Liquid beat OG Esports 2-1 to move on to the grand finals of BLAST Premier World Finals.

G2's MONESY is currently in the lead to win the MVP of Blast Premier World Finals 2022. G2 Esports and Team Liquid have been underperforming rosters considering their star-studded lineups from the last two seasons. This will be their chance to finish the 2022 season strong and head into 2023 with momentum.

Blast Premier World Finals 2022: TEAMS

Eight teams competing in Blast premier world finals were decided by several tournaments across the year. Navi through Spring Finals, Heroic by Fall Finals, Faze through PGL major and EPL S15, Vitality by ESL Pro League 16, Outsiders through Rio Major, and G2, OG, and Liquid through global leaderboard.

Blast Premier World Final Group Stage Results-

Eight teams started the group stage of the world final, and two groups of four teams each played a double-elimination format (GSL) Group to decide the 6 total teams in playoffs.

In group A, Faze Clan secured the top seed after winning against G2 Esports and Team Liquid. G2 Esports and Team Liquid secured second and third seeds, both went 1-1 and beat Outsider who got eliminated from the group stages.

In group B, OG Esports beat NAVI and Vitality to secure the top seed. Navi and Vitality both beat Heroic to secure spots in the quarterfinals. Heroic got eliminated after losing both games against OG and NAVI.
